Private/Exclusive:

Our Private Hire option is used for parties with up to max 20 kids and 40 adults. This will give you exclusive use of the venue and will be closed to the public. 

You can start at 9am, 1pm or 2pm. Please confirm the time and duration that would suit you. 

Tuesday to Thursday: 

• 2 hours – R3200 

• 3 hours – R4600

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays:

• 2 hours - R3500

• 3 hours - R5000

Included:

• 2 x trestle tables (with white or black tablecloths)

• 2 x wooden kids tables which can seat up to 20 kids with plastic red and yellow chairs. 

• The café tables & chairs are arranged according to your preference.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• To secure your date and time, we require a R2000 non-refundable deposit, which will be deducted from your final invoice. R500 damages deposit which will be fully refunded once the party is over granted there is no damage done to the Happy Town Play Cafe (Pty) Ltd. Property

• If you would like to bring your own food (excluding chips and sweets which must be bought from Happy Town), then there will be a cover charge of R500. Please let us know if you have sweets or chips, you specifically would like, so we can ensure that we have enough stock.

• All cold drinks and coffees for both the children and adults must be bought from the café.  No alcohol is allowed on the premises.

• You have 30 mins to set up ahead of your party booking time. If you would like more time for setup, this can be provided at an additional cost.

• Any setup extras (ie: balloon arches etc) must be taken home after the party or if using an events company, they must collect and breakdown their set at the end of the event.

• There will also be 2 playtainers available in the play town for the duration of the party.

• No food or drinks are allowed in the play areas

• Strictly no children over 6 years of age unless it is the birthday child’s siblings. 

• Please respect the play areas and toys in them.

Non-Private:

If you wish to have a small table for a party with under 6 kids and 6 adults on a regular day, this is also an option. We will set aside our 8-seater table in the cafe for you. If you would like, we can organize some small platters, snacks, a cake or you can run a tab at the cafe.​

Tuesday to Friday: 

• 2 hours – R1250

• 3 hours – R1850                         

Included:

• A designated area in our café, reserved just for your group.

• A maximum of 6 adults due to space​​
